Unfortunately You're going to have a hard time finding one for sale. Years ago I bought an 802 without a top cover and it sat here a long time, mechanically ready to go, until I eventually bought an 802 parts donor! Pretty sure this parts machine got tossed out of a plane without a functional chut! Looked like it landed flat on it's skid base at terminal velocity! Pretty much rendering the unit 3" shorter than original, but the top covers and a lot of other small parts salvaged made it well worth the $475 invested!
I say you have a sheet metal shop fabricate one for you, I wouldn't think it would break the bank.....

Thanks for the reply, you would not believe how much two different shops wanted to fab up a top, so for now I will just keep looking, somebody has to have one

I was kinda expecting you to find having one made to be prohibitive... You probably wouldn't start seeing a per part break until you get up around 10 or more.
One will turn up, or you'll find a thrashed donar...

Do not limit your search to just MEP-802A. There is an MEP-812A, 400 hertz model. You might find a top through that search.
