Brought home a low hour MEP-803a today ('07 model). Made the rookie mistake of filling it with fuel at the gas station on the way home. Well it has the dreaded wellnut leak. Lots of diesel in the flatbed. I already have a new wellnut on the way from Daybreak.
Does the low fuel shutoff circuit keep the genset from cranking at the panel? I cranks over fine with the deak crank switch but will not crank from the panel. The tank is completely empty.
Once I fix the fuel leak is there any trick to getting it primed since it is bone dry?
Thanks.
