MEP-804B wont start without Starting spray

This machine started giving me issues a few weeks ago when it would only start with Ether...then it would run fine. But now it wont. I'm guessing its a fuel issue....was going to start at the filters and then pump.

Any suggestions?

Pinholes in the soft fuel lines is something else to consider.

I believe it specifically says in the book not to use ether.

Yup, glowplugs and the ether bunny dont play well together

Have you tested the glow plugs with a multimeter to verify they are not burned out?

mine requires a preheat at anything below 50*F for a smooth start

Turns out it was/is the shut off solenoid sticking
