read my original posting again please, wherein I asked for readers to use my direct email, and avoid the forum here, BUT in this instance your question is broad in scope and the answers can be useful in about 10 differant settings, so I will wade in here despite how you have asked ...
Response #1 confirm to me this UNICOR distro panel, you talk about using 480 as the primary voltage, does this Unicor thing have a STEP DOWN feature wherein you will have access to both the 3 phase 480 and 208 outputs.. Or are you thinking of going back into the actual generator windings and at the mid point breaking and out the 208 ...
Response #2 to get 480 is easy, no problem, EXCEPT all the safety features are set for a high limit in the 416 range, this is where IMO it's time to scrap all the crap and get serious if you want to make this set a reliable set or a sometime yes or no maybe works as you want, or need it
#3 what your talking about as I read this is not for the faint hearted your gonna need to get your crap together and do some serious work and that's fine I \'m all good to help just know your talking about a decent scope of work, are you up for that AND some expense my first guess is $1,000 or so dollars for all the nick knack crap it will take... new controller and boards and such, I wont help if you want or going to try and keep the crappy CIM that will be a total waste of both ours time and brain matter
let me know.. REGARDS: mac/mc
