So just to give you guys an update I got the gen running again flawlessly it turns out the control board has an internal relay board behind it and the run relay has failed so when it heats up after running for a while it loses contact and shuts the gen off. So while doing some research I found that this is a common failure and CAT came out with a bulletin addressing the issue with a work around which was to install an external 24v relay and bypassing the board which got her running great again. I also reprogrammed the board for 220v 60hz and all over current faults have gone away
