I found the thread. It was about the Low Oil Pressure SWITCH.I had found a low cost alternative for the 831 sending unit. It was from the same company as the OEM. I don't remember the part number off hand. A search may show it as I listed it here as a couple other people needed them.

Ordered a couple off of fleabay today.I would go with the same one thats on the MEP-802a, Mep803a. They are available through a few suppliers. Search "DATCON OIL PRESSURE TRANSMITTER PART NUMBER 02504" The one listed on eBay looks like a good deal. Hope this helps.

Sorry about that had no idea the pressure was that high.Oil Pressure at startup is ~125 PSI and Oil Pressure when warmed up is 80 PSI.

Might you have the part numbers for the large oil pressure Senders?
I received the one I ordered that's good for 150 PSI. Tested it with shop air from 20-135 PSI. It's a powered type and has very linear voltage output.Would a pressure transducer work?
