I got the mecc alte in today. Thanks for the pointers. Went in easy

So theres black and white coming out the mecc alte. And on the mep501 head theres
-wire at the top
-bridged wire thats says bat gnd (battery ground)
-and black clip that says fld sta

How do they connect? Or should i see about getting a mep531 control box? I seen a few on ebay

thanks

Like I said, there is NOTHING the same on these two generators electrically. You need to make everything yourself. Even a MEP 531A control box will not work properly as it is intended for the exact setup it is intended for. You would be double flashing, for example, and destroy & light on fire something.

Use basic electrical principles & make a breaker panel. That will be the simplest option you have.
