I took the 24 regulator apart and there was a coil that was once strapped down with zip ties, the winding wire broke off. There is a 24v regulator that looks like the ballast from a florescent light.
Grab the TM and troubleshoot that part. Make sure you have input power to the regulator.
What kind would you replace it with? I spent about an hour trying to search for a replacement part with no luck. ThanksI've not had to replace one yet. I figured if I did I would go with a different regulator.
I wonder if it's possible to repair that.I took the 24 regulator apart and there was a coil that was once strapped down with zip ties, the winding wire broke off.
after that It was running for a few minutes without slave power and then stopped again. is the 24v regulator readily available?
BTW there is no troubleshoot for that part... only replacement.
I cleared the solder spot from the broken piece and re-solderesd and wipe tied the coil back down. After that it worked .I wonder if it's possible to repair that.
