hey everyone first time posting but been here awhile.i have searched and i am now giiving up looking for my answer and posting it up now.


i bought some michelin xl 12.50r20 and plan on running them on my 1988 dodge 3/4 ton truck but i need to know what rim width i should run for these tires what is the min-max width that i can saftley use.

12.50R20 XL's are approved for a 11" rim. So you should be able to run a 10 or 12" wide rim.

That's true, they are rated for 56mph with a tremendous load rating. I know John runs the 12.50R20 Continentals on his excursion. It's driven to 57mph and a little more all the time. :whistle:
