Hey all,... Im new to these trucks but I've been wanting one for the past three years. I have a chance to buy an XM813 5 ton truck right down the street from where I live. The guy selling it is real nice and is willing to let me put a down payment on it so it wont be sold to anyone else. He has a lot of these bad ass trucks,....anyway I was wondering how these trucks are and some pros and cons with them. How would this rascal handle a snowplow on the front,...its got a flat bed which is awesome for a 5 yard salt hopper. Will it even push anything or pull anything? I plan on fixing this thing up and using it for snow removal and hauling fire wood and going to off road parks to haul my dirt bikes and atvs. But will it haul/pull?

HaHa, this is too funny. I've been doing online searches for these trucks and this place always pops up so I decided to join up. Small world. I cant wait to take a ride in that bad boy. I cant figure out which tire and wheel package to go with, I'm not worried about top speed. Im more interested in maintaince cost per tires over the long run and whats better traction on road in snow and rocky/mud mountainous terrain in western Maryland.
