I sure do like that crawler! It is very good that you saved it from being ground up and sent to somewhere to be recycled.
It really looks good and I can't wait to see more pictures.

Thank You for your service to our Country.

What a nice machine ! 1500 hrs. not even broke in yet . Engine sounds very strong , what Diesel is in it ?
Has an Allis 3500. Yes, and the hour meter does show correct time. If you look at the GL video earlier in this thread, it didn't look pretty but I had a feeling about it. I try my best to find the older stuff without electronics.

I hear you about the SIMPLE DIESEL's , air , fuel , compression and she's a runner ! IMHO , they ruined the diesel engine with all the electronic garbage and filters . When they break now , better get the hook ! LOL

Surfdog, I have the following manuals for the Clark 290M
Lub Order 5-2420-206-12 dated 15 Dec 1983
Change 2 for 5-2420-206-12 dated 2 June 1972 for the Operator & Org. manual (1 Page)
Change 3 for 5-2420-206-12 dated 8 July 1974 for Operator & Org. manual (1-2 page)
TM 5-2420-206-20P dated Sept 1974 (Parts manual only)
The changes really don't do you any good without the basic manual -12, which is the one you really need.

I also have manuals for the Scraper Towed 18Yd Euclid Model 58SH-G
5-3805-231-15 dated June 1965 Org, DS, GS, & Depot manual
5-3805-231-24P dated July 1984 (Parts only)

If interested send me a PM!
