Saw the listing on Amazon, and ABE books for printed copies, but it's also available in PDF.
Might also look at the following web sites:

Restoring an M37 is just like doing a car: the right parts, methods, and materials.

Sourcing them is the fun, doing it is the labor of love.

Most of it obvious, inspect things and do what needs to be done. None of it is rocket science.

Don't substitute civvy truck parts, stay with the originals or good reproductions

Other than that, my only advice is not to use Redi-Strip company to do the body cab prep.

The stuff they dunk it in will ooze out of every crevice forever, and that is no fun.

I am absolutely staying away from the civvy stuff. The more I read about the efforts to turn these into all around work horses (and BOY have I been reading!) the more impressed I am with the "stock" configuration(s).

As far as the cab goes, I may need to find a new one. I looked at the truck a few weeks before buying it, but I'll be honest it was kind of buried in tall grass and I couldn't see the extent of the rust, so... that'll be fun!

I'm planning on complete frame up resto. Not only will that put the truck "right", but I'll be intimately familiar with all of its systems.

PROST!!

Tonight is Gin and Tonic with a lime that I have been coddling for a week. I believe the lime will blend very well in my Bombay Sapphire.

I have the Dodge M37 Restoration Guide kicking around somewhere. It came with my truck when I bought it a couple of years ago.

You may want to get a look at one before spending big bucks for a copy. I found it interesting, but not really all that useful as a restoration guide. I'd never pay $700 for one. I did see one in good condition go for $184 on eBay back on Dec 3, 2021: Link to sold item

For the question above; "will it be helpful, or not" - every question I ever had, was answered directly - right here.

It looks like the same copy type as a Chilton manual, with the same vague, generic information.
One above post lists a copy in openlibrary.com or archive.org - give that a read, to judge its suitability for your needs.

I have been slacking w/no progress to report on mine, I need to drop the tank, and clean and coat it,
At that point the progress stopped, too much going on - too many irons in the fire at once.
Can't wait for spring to get back at it!
(M-37 is outside, and temp. is 15 degrees now, and I'm not that fanatic.)
