I am working on a HMMWV restoration to a M1025A1. Just wondering what the correct military radio setup would be for this vehicle and where I can find a radio?

Any of the SINCGARS radios would work. http://olive-drab.com/od_electronics_sincgars_v.php Better have a thick wallet,as the DOD has been scrapping by shredding radios for some time now. I have seen some with the crypto cards removed and they are always $800.00+. Call Mike Murphy at http://www.murphyjunk.bizland.com/.
I recall in the late 80s when the HMMWV was new, seeing the VRC-12 sets installed. They are more available and much cheaper.
