Uncle Sam has a RESET/Rebuild program going on for just about every vehicle type being used in Iraq. Much cheaper to refurb exisiting vehicles than buy brand new ones.
The 2800 gallon M978 HEMTT refueler is the perfect size for refueling a M1 Tank Platoon, which is the job it was designed for. 4 tanks x 500 gallons each, and some extra.. It's all you need. 1 Tanker per tank Platoon is the standard.
