More progress pics

Started to pull off the front sheet metal to get it ready for paint.

Rust repair patches welded in under the door on both side.

Tomorrows project will be to grind down the welds and prep the areas for primer.

While removing the front fender I found that some dumba$$ welded the fender to the cab while patching rust spots on the fender. The Army must have figured that they would never need to remove this fender again.

I'm still shooting to have this deuce done by Thanksgiving for the parades. I can see a few late nights before then.

Hmm. Salt water termite infestation.
Luckily, mine only has rust on the rear body.

That's it just rub it in. Mine will no longer have any left in a few days. New fenders, bed, and the rust repair I just did should take carre of all of it.
