Looks good, would love to see more pics, especially of the interior.

One previous owner?

Do you know it's history?

Interior pics attached.

Basic research has the history as: Russia, Czechoslovakia, Museum in California, and previous owner was South Texas. Still lots of research to do.

1st bit of work was to free up the hatch locks, so that I can lock it up and no one can get in to use it as a get-away vehicle!:driver:

I dont know about the little old lady, but it was probably only driven once a week. It is only showing 95 kilometers on the Russian speedometer.......

.....which is probably as accurate as every deuce mileage ever quoted by GL:roll:

Both arms, both legs, and I haven't even started work on it yet.
Hehe. The guy I bought my machine gun from used to have one, he said was a German capture(Had the swastikas on it on). I forget what he paid for it. He used to offer rides for cash at the biannual machine gun shoots in Princeton,MN. I've got a few pics(I should a bunch of it with me and my kids with it at one of the shoots. I understand he's an importer/exporter in Fl. now

If you want I'll post the pics.

My former Father-in-Law was a tanker in the Fuehrer Escort Battalion, spent some time as a guest of the Worker's Paradise until 1952.

Anyhooo, due to the attrition of armor vehicles, T34s were gladly pressed into service against their former heathen owners. One snowy evening, Winter 1942, Fuehrer Escort Bn pulls into a collective farm, mix of T34s, PzKwIIIs, IVs, sets up a perimeter and gets ready to bed down for the night. Guards are posted, greatcoats, German-issued felt boots or captured Russian, fur hats, pretty much the same winter clothing worn by both sides.

Shortly afterwards another unit with T34s pulls into the collective farm, starts getting ready for the nite, just like any military unit does.

Soldat gets decked out in layer upon layer of insulation to cope with nite guard duty, heads out into the snow to relieve the guard post. He finally sees a man standing outside in the snow, goes up to bum a smoke and relieve the guard post.

Well, after a few seconds, Soldat recognizes Frontovik, Frontovik recognizes Soldat, both go running back to their dwellings shouting The enemy! The enemy! Everybody is rolling out of slumber, vehicles are being started, men are grabbing their **** n trying to unass the AO.

Russians go back the direction they came from, Germans headed a Km or two back in their route of march, all without a shot being fired!

Ol' Schweiger-Papa told me stories of smoking lend-lease Churchill and Sherman tanks on the Ostfront, 1800m away.

Thats a great addition to the museum Needle. Should be moved back to town first week of October. I'll have plenty of time off so I can help out with what ever [thumbzup]. When and if you get a chance, get the keys to the Benabago from Kevin and take it around the block for me please.
