Bed

Here are some more pictures , finished primering the bed and blocking it in . Started painting bed and it started raining for a few, so I stopped and covered it again. Saturday should be a good day to paint .

did you address the frame cracking issues, by the steering box? If you are running meats that size I would recomend some reinforcement

Just painted cab and truck bed . It has been slow going painting house before winter.

Nice job I used to do frame up restos too until it got old like a full time job so I started doing deuces to break up the monotony of the work now I just drive them the way they are and enjoy the great work like your self and others do keep it up.

Have you considered upgrading your steering to crossover type? It will take care of the frame cracking flaw mentioned earlier, and also gives you full control when you hit a deep hole or ridge on one side of the vehicle when you are offroading. If you are interested, PM me and I can give you the list of materials from the mods I did on one of my M1028s last year.

Hello akonitony , I do have a crossover steering unit to put on , with a rebuilt 2wheel gearbox.
