Well I took a long trip today to pick up and drive home my new big boy toy a 1970 M35a2 kaiser jeep. She's big loud and ugly just like me. I would just like to say thank you to one special person for going above and beyond the call of duty to help me with the fine details that made my new favorite vehicle possible. He does not want me to mention his name, but you know who you are and you were very appreciated. Tomorrow she gets a bath and the work starts. Hope to drive her in next years events.

She really is. Got to really give a once over today. She has the vacuum shift lockouts, hercules multifuel motor, and she is a kaiser jeep. All of which I was hoping for and got lucky. Not that the AM would have been bad, but I have always been partial to the kaiser. Must be my german blood hahaha.

It's at the D-Day Adventure Park. Take highway 60 to Cayuga Rd across from the Indigo Sky Casino. Drive down Cayuga Rd for a few miles. The D-Day park will be on the right. Drive down the road and you'll go through the gate.

I think the date was changed at some point. It is Oct 3-5.

Download and read the tech manuals. You'll also want to grease the many grease points on the truck. If it moves, it gets grease. We will be glad to answer questions during the rally.

Shes already taken a trip to Dallas, been in the edmond parade, took 2 trips to norman with 0 problems. Working on repairing a badly damaged soft top for summer. Hope to take a few pics and video the repair process. Lining up the spin on filters, and going to bypass the fuel compensator as I have no need to run anything but deisel. As it warms up the work will stop.
