Mystery MV spotted

I was driving to work Wed morning and spotted what looked like an M109 on super singles with a Hemtt cab. I'm kicking myself for not getting a pic of it. Was in Mesa, AZ on the 202 heading east about 7:45. Was painted solid coyote brown. Anyone know anything about this?

4x4 or 6x6? hemtt cab or fmtv cab?

3 axle 6x6, hemtt cab engine behind and m109 box behind that.

This is the only factory truck that I can think of.. It would be really interesting to see If it was in fact an m109 with a HEMTT cab.

On Monday the10th of October my wife, and I were driving on I 80 West of Winnemucca, Nevada headed East . We came upon a M35A2WOW. Then on Tuesday we came upon the same truck North of Riggins, Id! It had Idaho, Idaho county plates on it! We were in a white Ford Taurus we tried to get you to stop so we could talk to you.

Doing some google searching I found these, did Oshkosh make a 6x6?

I'm pretty sure the truck in your pictures is a prototype, maybe pre-HEMTT or possibly a design that lost out to the eventual MTVR. Too bad it was never produced, that thing is awesome. Did it say what engine it had under the hood?
