Mystery rim damage?

I have several used rims that have ugly radial scraping going on inside the rim. What causes this? Rims are straight from uparmored HMMWVs.

Hard to tell... Not enough info as to what they were last mounted on. HUMMWV, Chevy, etc. My guess would be a tie rod clamp positioned wrong. Doesn't look quite what I have seen when wrong .
