I sometimes get some soot at the top as well. Usually if I forget to put the coffee can on top of the stack. Then water gets in, as you start to warm up the exhaust the water turns to steam and mixes with the exhaust gases and creates a soot that sticks to the of the truck or around the exhaust somewhere. Well that's my theory anyway. Glad to see you made it back without any issues. Can't wait to see it!
