I'm surely not a rocket scientist, just a shade tree mechanic but it seems to me that if it needs water or soil contact to break down then in a sealed area it should be just as good or better with the higher lubricity. I can understand in the case of wheel bearings under water fordings might be more of a problem but water getting into wheel bearings is bad with GAA also. I guess only time and experience will tell.:roll: I personally like synthetics.2cents
