New Hubs for a M101-A1

Has anyone ever swapped out the 5 lug hub on the M101 to a 8 lug hub?
Thoughts, experience, adivce?

There are a couple of key items to swapping hubs. Not owning a military trailer, I don't know what oem gear is on them, but the brake flange and spindle size will either accept different brakes and hubs or not. New brake backing plates and hubs would be needed, if fitment is possible.

A full axle swap will get the job done, of course.

HMMMM Why would you want to chenge the wheels/hubs ??

To get your trailer using the same wheels as your truck.

EDIT: Or to get the trailer to an easier to find tire size.

The later M101's came with the eight lug wheels. Are they just different hubs or completely new axles???

Im guessing new axles, are you talking about the A2?
