I cleaned, sanded everything with the grinder, damn black plastic on the floor, it was difficult to remove it, when the floor was sanded, we applied a rust protector, and then proceeded to paint it.

Looks like you are doing great work!
Where in Spain are you located?
In my travels there I have not seen any old USA military vehicles, but did spot some of of your indigenous equipment in convoy while driving between Bilbao and Logrono...

The base of the fuel filter began to cause problems, air was entering and the Hulk did not want to start, I detected that it was because of the restriction switch hole and I got to work.

I disassembled the Wix filter, took out the filter base, checked all the joints and the restriction switch was leaking fuel, something logical since the car was 37 years old. After several attempts to start it started to leak fuel through the lower drain, so I ordered everything necessary and started with spin on conversion.

I used a manual wrench to bleed the air, a 90-degree copper elbow for the lift pump hose and a straight connector for the IP hose, I mounted a wix 33528 fuel filter, filled it with diesel, opened the valve To bleed the air, I moved the engine for 20 seconds, it wanted to start but couldn't, I closed the key to remove the air from the circuit, I turned the engine again and BOOOOOOM started faster than usual and with the same force

Soon I will upload some information about how I set up the IP, I rebuilt a generator which is failing again, and the rest of you, greetings and I hope you enjoy the cucv as much as I do

I live in the middle of the country, here American military vehicles are not very popular, here what is popular are old vehicles from European brands, or the Spanish brand Seat.

Bilbao and Logroño is an area with a lot of charm, the north of the country is beautiful.

I have driven as far south as Madrid and spent a few days in Barcelona. I love the country it is a special place. I would consider living there perhaps in the future. The lifestyle seems to be very different but more relaxed. I appreciate the culture and the way that a feeling of national pride and homogeny exists there. Incredible how the people came out to support the Athletic for example in their recent triumph.

I suppose as far as the vehicles go, I would be hard-pressed to find a single former Spanish military vehicle here in USA as well. Can't say I have run across a Seat here either...
