Well I finaly got my EUC and Westfolk made it to Chambersburg to grab the truck which will finally make it to Michigan by end of next week. He said the truck has a miss and a backfire through the intake. Also the stop cable had been liberated by someone while the truck was at the lot. It was in the posting pictures but its gone now.
Has anyone had issues with stuck valves or the like with the Cummins 250?

That sucks pappa G! Did they take the Tachograph apart like that too? I am not a diesel mechanic but I know Dave P has had the top end gone through on a couple of his Cummins engines.. They get loose and klattery with wear.. I have no doubt that the pro's will chime in and help you locate and fix the problem. But it seems to me that could cause valve problems and backfire.. loose valve train..
