I aquired my 1987 M1028 about 7 months ago and loving every minute of drive time that I get. The build date on the truck is 09/86. It currently has 61k on it and goes up daily. I'm going to try and restore or attempt to restore it to its former glory. Can anyone help decipher the designations on the front bumper? uploadfromtaptalk1435074917524.jpguploadfromtaptalk1435074953802.jpguploadfromtaptalk1435075004554.jpg

Welcome from Spring Lake,

bumper, I'd say Virginia National Guard, FMS is the Maintenance section, the Civilian Technicians would probably drive/use it.
