No brakes on M54. Airpack ?

Hey guys looking at an M54 that has no brakes at all. The owner says is needs an airpack. How available are the parts ? How does it work ? Is it an air over hydrualic system ? I am a heavy truck mech but i have never worked on one of these.

Yup available all over the place.
Yes it uses air pressure to assist in braking power.
Pretty simple system to work on.
