No EUC required on MEPs

We were looking at GL this week and we noticed something new, GL seems to have removed the EUC requirement to purchase generators. The is evident in the events in PA and NY. Now anyone can bid on them.

It is about time. Why have an EUC on an item you can buy (sort of) at most large hardware stores.

Last month I bought an M116a2 trailer with 2 MEP-701a gensets mounted on it and I didn't need an EUC. I didn't realize that the requirement wasn't there until the day after I won the lot.

Anyway, just wanted to double confirm this.

But why would they exempt the EUC for the M116a2 trailer? I think a EUC for a trailer is stupid anyway....... what.... are you going to launch a m101a2 at an enemy? can you imagine the distance you can get one to go..... and the accuracy..... deadly ! Maybie they dont want it used for going across the border and bringing a load of 'forign exchange students' back across.... maybe

No. But kinda odd I could use one of my cranes that did not need an EUC to build something that could.
