The problem with all these doodads on a 4x4 is they hang low and are then easily damaged or broken if you go wheeling.Oil changes are super easy as it is.. if I were to move to a valve type oil plug the only one I'd trust is: http://fumotousa.com/
Thank you. Someone once said nothing will ever hit it when installed on a Deuce because of the axle. Yea might be fine if you were always going forward. Ever get pulled out of a ditch backwards. I would never put one on anything but my boat so I would not have to stand on my head in the bilge to get to the bolt or drain my oil.The problem with all these doodads on a 4x4 is they hang low and are then easily damaged or broken if you go wheeling.
Is it really that hard to use a ratchet to undo a bolt and let gravity do the work?
These things are a solution to a non-problem.
If you use on your boat you must cap it. If it gets loose your engine may fill with water. This is a problem unique to the devices with twist to open valves like ball valves.Thank you.
