Oil filter line routing

Okay, I see that the oil filter fills with oil and the overflow goes out the side of the filter and down to the timing gear cover, but where does the oil line come from? I'm working on another person's project and the oil filter line was missing.

There is a fitting in the oil gallery behind the fuel pump that feeds the oil filter.
