i went with a K&N oilfilter... they're alot more expensive, but it had 14k mls at the time, and i switch to synthetic oil, so i decided to go with the best. i always had great luck with they're airfilters on my hi-po bikes and in my 5.8l Bronco, so i decided to stick with them...
