The annual OFM airshow will be held on Father's Day weekend again this year. In the past they have encouraged participation of Vintage Military Vehicles, but there is a problem this year. It seems the area is infested with Mazama Pocket Gophers (endangered species). They are trying to get a variance so they can go on the grass and use the normal footprint of the show, but as of this date, they will not be allowed to use the grass across the taxi way or the grassy area that they use for parking.
There will be some smaller military displays and they will have the B-29 Fifi there for those that would like to take a ride on a B-29. They also plan on showing off their newly restored Corsair. It will still be a nice event, but we may not be able to have the vehicle presence we have had in the past. Will post more as I learn more.
