Oregon registration help

Hey guy's, Who would know about registration in Oregon. Before I purchase a 5 ton, it would be nice to know how to go about getting it licensed. Non commercial of course. I have my disabled Veterans plates on a vehicle I just sold, and will remove them before they go to the new buyer. I'm thinking I can use them on the 5 ton right. But how would you suggest I register it? Antique, motor home? I don't know. I'd like to go the cheapest and easiest way too of course. Thank for the help. Ben
