Howdy Folks!

Just wondering if anyone knows part numbers on the o-rings within the power steering reservoir vent cap.

There should be a larger one for where the cal screws into the reservoir and then I think a smaller one for where the rotating vent mechanism is held into the cap via snap ring.

Mine leaks out of both. Would post a pic but fe is too big

Do you have the big reservoir on top of motor? If leaking out the lid of either style, sounds overfilled.

Yep, big reservoir, not overfilled but I do wheel my Humvee so it gets some pretty extreme angles. That part is not designed to leak, you are thinking of the vent hose.

You had lost me when stating it leaks where the cap (?) screws into the reservoir. The lid just sits on top of the reservoir with a special clamp.
The big one for the lid isn't much of an o-ring. More of a gasket. 5330-01-505-7214, Q79699, 5716620.
The vent o-ring is 5331-01-505-7218, Q79870, 5716623.
The TM only shows the o-ring where the vent screws into the lid.
The brass fitting is 4730-01-506-3179, Q348148, 5716759.
You only fill the reservoir to the center of the sight glass. Being only 1/2 full, the HMMWV would have to be almost straight up or straight down to get to the small o-ring on the vent fitting.
