A few days ago we learned the registration number for the Cold War Collection's V100, and I am continuing to pursue some threads.
The NCAGE is 19207. This conflicts with another NCAGE I found for Cadillac Gage was 6B308; every other C-G and C-G Textron NCAGE is an alphanumeric of 5 characters. Am I missing something?
I found a few credible Goofle search results with the NSN. One points to this:
page http://www.lasdefense.com/Customer/FSCListProd.aspx?fsc=2320&name=&page=5
and down near the bottom are two CAR, ARMORED entries. The XM706E1 gives this:
http://www.lasdefense.com/Customer/cagelist.aspx?cage=19207
Here is my concern. There are lots of parts listed associated to this NCAGE. Presumably these are still-valid NSNs and items that a fellow could locate through any number of vendors. Does anyone have a better cross reference list or intuition if "HOSE comma FLEX" actually means something useful for a V100?
BTW, there is an archive of V100 threads from here on Steel Soldiers that is easy to navigate at:
