Picked up new Deuce

Big thanks to Joe (aka warthog) and 1075 for picking up my truck from Ft. Silly and bringing it to Okie City.Joe spent the last few weeks gettin her road ready for me.I am east bound for Arkansas at o' dark thirty tomorrow.

It is a 1966 M32a2, fresh rebuild engine and t case, fairly nice truck really, decided to buy a trailer from Joe while I was here, it's a good one too, a few pics

Not bad for a 5 month recovery, from the auction date, EUC clearance, pickup and repairs.

Here are a few of the before pics.

A purchase and recovery not for the faint of heart.

Plan is to fix her up a bit and enjoy her for what she is.No bob no chop just a decent representative of her generation.This is my second deuce but I sure like the old school look of the low headlights, it is growing on me already:beer:

Mission complete, no big problems on my 240 mile run, developed a Class III oil leak but I was near home, turned out to be a bolt fell out of the back of the compressor, easy fix.Thanks again to Warthog.Here are a few road trip shots, the last one is sitting in my driveway dripping oil:mrgreen: but at least she is home.

I kept it bout 50 to 55 all the way, seems to have plenty of power.This one came out of Ft. Sill Fuzzy, not the prettiest one on the lot but a good one after all.
