Here's pics of my pre- lube engine oil unit mod, fitted to my REO 5 ton. (modified to military camper with a praga radio body) waiting 25 / 30 seconds gives 15Lbs pressure on the gauge before hitting the go button. MOST satisfying.
Oh, and total cost under £60 ! using new pipes and fittings , used oil pump. (12v diesel fuel / oil tranfer pump) My M62 wrecker truck is fitted same, We plan to do My M45 fire truck same within this month. (previouse post) ((it presently has 3" high cut down oil filters! )) at mo..giving full engine oil pressure in less than 5 seconds, yes..I know BUT till the mod I like to have the engine / turbo properly lubed very shortly after start up.
