Wow this is indeed great. Just Love Connie. PS Magazine is old school Steel Soldiers style sage advice, pre-internet. Things the manuals did not tell you. Also gives you an idea of what was causing headaches back when the equipment was new.

And the PS Mags continue to this day to give the #1 cause of broken items going back to issue #1. Lack of proper maintenance.
