PTO generator on a deuce?

Hello im new to the site, has anyone ever hooked up a PTO generator ( from a tactor application) on to a duece? i live in South Louisiana and would love to get one to run the house during a storm.

You are probably talking about the ones from places like Northern Tool.

I'm sure you could build an adapter of sorts to connect the PTO to the generator but I would think the RPMs would be a problem. It isn't that the Deuce could not do it, it is just that tractors are usually setup to run at 540 or 600 RPM for the PTO implements they are running.

Will the PTO on an MV turn at that speed?
