how about drilling a hole for a grease nipple and grease it out hydraulically?

There are holes in the bottom of the sleeve to let the rain out. The grease would just ooze out of them.

Then cram a little black powder through those drain holes along with some cannon fuse, POW! Be sure to wear protective headgear though, those stakes will come down eventually...
