Pulling Engine and Transmission - How to disconnect the hard plastic driveline hoses?

Hey guys -

Getting very close to being able to pull my trashed 6.2L / 3L80 and replace with the 6.5L Optimizer and 4L80. Everything came out very smoothly and I am down to only the hard plastic lines that plumb into the air cleaner element and drive-line. What is the best way to disconnect them from the brass fittings? Is there a trick? I assume that the ends of the lines need to be somehow heated in order to be removed. Is that correct? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Brian

Thanks alot for the guidance. I think that I will replace all of the line since i have the drive-line out. It looks like standard air brake hard nylon tubing??
