Question about the 353 detroit

i just picked up a nice runner in a m37 frame...i noticed it was being used with no cooling fan... the engine was put in there nicely... I'm wondering why no cooling fan... should i find one or put a electric one in front or behind the radiator...

Its gonna need somethin for sure, is it a civilian or military 353?

i believe it civilian because it has a 5 speed married to it and its detroit green not military green.i will have to do an electric fan i guess. no fan hub on it.

Or because that m37 is so lite it never heats up to require fan.
The fan won't come on, on my hemtt for a long time and running it at 62mph. Never heard it come on while doing a parade.
But be careful my understanding is Detroits don't like being overheated.

i have plenty of room for a electric fan i will put one in to be safe.. even if it don't come on it will be a good safegaurd
