Rattling brake pedal?

So, since I've had the truck there's been annoying, really loud rattle that occurs going over rough roads (one of the two kinds we have here in Kansas: rough and dirt). Didn't bother looking for the source until I had other stuff done, but it turns out it's the brake pedal. If I put my foot on it, or put my foot under and lift up, it stops rattling.

Anyone else have a similar problem? And more importantly--if you did--how did you fix it?

There's a big bolt at the top that has some plastic shims in the hole...maybe they are bad or missing.

Missing...and it would have taken me hours to figure it out from the TM.

See, that's why I love you guys. Now to root around and see if I can find where to buy a set.

I'd look around at your auto parts store in the "HELP" brand section or whatever they term it at your store for general purpose body parts and springs and all that. Should be some plastic shims, plastic fittings or vinyl grommets you can use. No need to go NSN, unless you're a purist.
