I have some yellow diesel cans that I'm pretty positive I put diesel fuel in but one of them has green color and the others are more clear. How can I confirm if I was stupid and put gas in my diesel containers?
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
Offroad/Farm use diesel DOES have red dye in the USA. In most states if you have 'farm' license tags and you are less than 150 miles from your farm (even if in another state), you can 'pass'. Can as in 'may' if you have your paperwork ready. Some inspectors are stricter than others.I don't have official cite for this but I think I've often heard that north america dyes the house/offroad oil a red shade (so don't think of 'borrowing' out of the furnace fuel tank for your multifuel engine..or if a highway officer decides to dip the truck tank and sees this then you're in for tax evasion troubles)
again if you want to actually know it would be best to ask someone who does have the books to read from..you know what I mean there!
