rear glass

my rear glass is scratched pretty bad and I was wondering if anyone has tried to sand and buff glass and if so what did you use to do it? I like most 1009 owners need to give some attention to the rear tailgate- just planning the next thing to tackle.

you can use 0000 steel wool and some wax

Cotten cloth and toothpaste work if its not too deep.
