I build and sell the rear step for the M997A2 ambulance. I have built 4 of them in the past 2 years. The first two had welded in steps and the last 2 were with OEM steps. The cover is welded at 45 degrees because I have no way to bend 25 inch wide 1/4 aluminum. I did find a shop that will "Bump bend' it for $250 (They don't have a 25" wide 4" dia to bend it). I provide all hardware including latches, lanyard and fasteners, instructions and my phone number. Shipping is around $50. I am Located in Everett Wa.
I also recently made 2 sets of rear doors from 3/4" plywood covered with .080" aluminum sheet including latches with lock bars. Shipping those doors was $430

$1550 with OEM step platforms (if available)

$1400 With welded step platforms
