Hey Guys... new member here.

I just bought a M936A2 from Ft. Hood, TX.

Page 0018-5 of TM 9-2320-272-10 says to engage the rear winch.....

6. Place transfer case shift lever in NEUTRAL; and
7. Unlock safety latch and push transfer case power takeoff lever back to engage; and
8. Shift transmission selector lever to 1-5 (drive).

My truck does not have (or I cant find it) a transfer case power takeoff lever (#7).

However, when I shift the transmission to 1-5... the rear winch and boom work just fine.

Your Thoughts? Is the manual wrong or am I risking tearing something up?

When sitting in the drivers seat, look at the floor to your left, maybe a little behind - like in the back corner of the cab. The lever should be there.
