rebuilding a rear differential question

I have a hummvee differential on the bench right now. It needs a new bering on the pinion shaft. I removed the rear cover and cannot figure out how to to proceed. There are no manuals that show how to do much more than removal of the unit or replacing the seals. I took it to a trans/ differential shop but they were no help Nobody in the civy world is familiar with them. Any body know what manual I need to look it up in? Or has anyone had one of these apart?
