Relocating heater intake duct inside cab?

the heater in an A3 is mounted in the cab. the water hoses pass through the fire wall and connect to the valves like normal. the good thing about the heater in side under the glove box is the efficient use of space, and it get the heater out of the way of the injector pump and other components on the drivers side of the motor. the air intake on the A3 is on the right next to the fresh air vent on the kick panel

11 Echo. So the heater is mounted where?. If inside then still pulling outside air.

Put the whole heater in the cab. Makes it much warmer and a lot easier to get to the IP, filters etc.
