What is is made with and how do you get it off CARC, it ain't chalk for sure? Lately they are going crazy with it in some yards.

Justin Wehring introduced me to the use of carburator cleaner....It takes it right off and does not hurt the CARC! There is a slight white cloud left after use but it will disapear when the truck is washed with water.

Hope this helps....

Brake Kleen and a stiff brush. If a rag is used, it just gets shredded by the rough surface of the carc paint.

Just paint over it. I was touching up some spots with the rattle cans and painted right over the markings. That's what is great about MVs. If you scratch it just break out the rattle can. Believe it or not, you can make a rough looking truck look brand new with a few cans.

Why in the 5 ton forum?

And, sadly this had been covered to death before as well.

I'll beg, please search well before posting.
